The attorneys at the Historic Church Street Law Offices are active members in the Elkhorn Chamber of Commerce, the Walworth County Bar Association and other Bar and Civic organizations. The offices, their attorneys, paralegal and secretaries have prided themselves as being active in the City of Elkhorn’s annual fall festival and well known Christmas Parade. The office annually enters a scarecrow humorously depicting lawyers in the city’s Scarecrow Contest held on the old courthouse square. In December of each year the office constructs a float for the annual Elkhorn Christmas Parade. In 2006 the office won First prize for its float entitled “Lawyers in Toyland” a humorous take off on the “Babes in Toyland” theme. In 2007 the offices float portrayed a humorous lawyer’s view of the Wizard of Oz theme and took Second place in the contest.
